No. When a retracted external venetian blind rattles in the wind, it means the slats in the upper position are no longer tight due to lack of tension in the ladder tapes, or the upper locking clip is broken. We re-tension the curtain, replace the clip and check that the Warema or Somfy motor applies the compression stroke correctly at the end of the ascent.
